North Macedonia and France are committed to strengthening their economic ties and collaborating on infrastructure projects. This commitment was the focus of a recent meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski and French Ambassador Christophe Le Rigoleur.
Nikoloski emphasized the strong relationship between the two countries and the potential for enhanced economic cooperation, particularly in supporting infrastructure development. He briefed Ambassador Le Rigoleur on the government’s development plans, highlighting infrastructure projects of regional importance that aim to boost economic growth in the area.
During the meeting, both parties acknowledged the positive bilateral relations between North Macedonia and France, exchanging perspectives on political and economic matters affecting the country and the wider region.
Discussions also touched on North Macedonia’s ongoing reform process and its aspirations for European Union membership. Nikoloski affirmed the country’s dedication to integration, stating that government policies are geared towards reform and combating corruption.
Nikoloski and Le Rigoleur concluded the meeting by agreeing to intensify cooperation between North Macedonia and France in the coming period.
