The reconstruction of the Rabotnicki Hall, which began in January, is scheduled to be completed by October. Mayor of Centar Municipality, Goran Gerasimovski, announced that he is regularly monitoring the progress of the construction.
The “Rabotnicki” sports hall is being reconstructed using funds from the state budget. The Government allocated 30 million denars to the Municipality of Centar in December 2023 for this project, followed by an additional 1.5 million euros this year.
Gerasimovski stated that the construction is proceeding well and that he conducts regular inspections. “Work on the Rabotnicki hall is in full swing. The construction work is going well,” he said. “We have regular inspections by the services, but also by me, to see how the work itself is progressing.”
The project includes several key upgrades. A new roof and facade are being installed, and the field is being expanded. Additionally, a new elastic surface, underfloor heating, air conditioning, and modern lighting are being implemented. The hall will also feature 891 seats, replacing the old concrete benches.
“We plan for September-October, if everything goes in the best order, if all those situations that are submitted by the companies working on the hall are paid on time, I believe that by October it will be open,” says Mayor Gerasimovski.
