Police issued 707 payment orders for traffic offenses across the country yesterday, according to the Ministry of Interior. These offenses fall under the Law on Road Traffic Safety and the Law on Vehicles.

The most common violations were improper parking and speeding. Authorities registered 225 instances of improper parking and 218 instances of speeding.

Other significant violations included driving without a license and failing to wear a seatbelt. 59 drivers were caught without a driver’s license, and 26 individuals were penalized for not wearing seatbelts.

Additionally, seven motorcyclists were sanctioned for not wearing helmets, and 15 people were fined for using mobile phones while driving. Twelve sanctions were issued for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Interior reported that 17 vehicles were removed from traffic. Three vehicles were removed due to technical malfunctions, while 14 were unregistered.
