They face the challenge of addressing the issue without ceding ground to Wilders, who remains the dominant figure on the topic of asylum and migration.

Wilders’ opponents are wary of directly challenging him on asylum, given his proven ability to mobilize voters on the right flank. They may attempt to shift the focus to other issues, but face a Wilders motivated by a desire for revenge after the fall of the cabinet.
