A woman is in critical condition after a single-vehicle accident on Grenstenvej southwest of Randers, where her car collided with a tree.

East Jutland Police Duty Officer Chris Mose confirmed the incident to TV 2 East Jutland.

The woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was driving when she lost control in a gentle right-hand curve and struck the tree.

Following the accident, the woman was airlifted to Aarhus University Hospital for treatment.

Her family has been informed of the situation.
