Uwe Rösler’s tenure as the coach of AGF’s Superliga team has concluded following a mutual agreement on Saturday. Rösler managed the team from 2022 to 2025.
Since 2000, AGF has seen a number of changes in leadership. David Nielsen held the position from 2017 to 2022, preceded by Glen Riddersholm from 2016 to 2017. Morten Wieghorst coached the team from 2014 to 2015.
Jesper Fredberg briefly managed the team in the spring of 2014. Peter Sørensen was the coach from 2010 to 2014, and Erik Rasmussen from 2009 to 2010. Ove Pedersen led the team from 2006 to 2008.
In the autumn of 2005, Brian Steen Nielsen and Jesper Tollefsen jointly managed the team. Søren Åkeby was the coach from 2003 to 2005, followed by Poul Hansen from 2002 to 2003 and Hans Petersen in 2002.
Earlier coaches include John Stampe from 2001 to 2002, Ove Christensen from 2000 to 2001, and Lars Lundkvist and Kent Nielsen in 2000. Peter Rudbæk held the longest tenure in recent history, coaching AGF from 1993 to 2000.
