Two men linked to the biker environment have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms for orchestrating a murder plot in Copenhagen. Copenhagen Police announced the sentences, marking a significant development in a series of cases involving young Swedes recruited to carry out violent acts in Denmark.
One man received a sentence of 16 years, while the other was sentenced to 15 years and eight months. The convictions stem from their role in ordering a young Swedish man to commit a murder at Blågårds Plads in Copenhagen.
The intended victim was associated with the gang Loyal to Familia. The planned murder was scheduled for the evening of September 10 of last year, but it was never carried out.
The young Swede was apprehended by police just hours after being dispatched to inner Nørrebro to commit the crime. This arrest prevented the planned violence from taking place.
According to the police, the two convicted men are affiliated with the Hells Angels and a support group. This case marks the first time that the individuals behind these types of crimes have been successfully prosecuted.
