Two people were injured in a car crash on Hemmedvej in Djursland Sunday morning.
One person was critically injured and transported by medical helicopter to Aarhus University Hospital in Skejby. The other person involved in the accident is in stable condition, according to East Jutland Police via social media platform X.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation. Authorities have dispatched a car inspector to the scene to analyze the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Hemmedvej is expected to remain closed for an extended period. Police are advising drivers to seek alternative routes to avoid the area.
As of now, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
