True Food ApS is recalling a batch of “Hverdagskylling Boneless Chicken Thighs” due to the presence of salmonella. The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration announced the recall Wednesday.
The affected product, sold in Netto stores nationwide, has a net weight of 300 grams and a use-by date of June 19.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled chicken thighs are advised to discard the product immediately or return it to the store of purchase.
Salmonella is a bacterium that can cause salmonellosis, a gastrointestinal illness characterized by diarrhea and general discomfort.
