Train services between Skanderborg and Langå faced disruptions Thursday afternoon due to police activity at Aarhus Central Station. East Jutland Police were called to the scene following a reported stabbing incident on one of the platforms.
One person has been arrested in connection with the stabbing. Another individual was transported to the emergency room to receive medical treatment for their injuries.
The East Jutland Police received the initial report of the stabbing at 4:42 PM.
Authorities anticipated a gradual resumption of train services on the affected route soon. According to mittog.dk, trains were halted along the route. “We expect the trains to start rolling slowly and steadily again before too long,” stated Anders Kragh Madsen, duty officer at East Jutland Police. As of shortly before 5:45 PM, further details regarding the incident were not immediately available.
