A serious traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a car occurred on Tjærebyvej east of Svenstrup near Korsør on Thursday afternoon.

The South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police reported the incident after receiving an emergency call at 4:23 PM. One person is reported to be in critical condition as a result of the collision.

Authorities have closed Tjærebyvej to traffic while a car inspector conducts an investigation of the accident site. The exact number of people involved in the accident is still being determined.
