Three Brøndby fans were arrested for vandalism at MCH Arena in Herning on Wednesday night, ahead of Thursday’s Danish Cup final between FC Copenhagen and Silkeborg. The men, all residents of West Jutland, were apprehended for defacing the stadium with graffiti and Brøndby stickers.

Police reported that the individuals were caught plastering sheds, trash cans, and signs with Brøndby’s signature blue and yellow colors. The three men were charged with vandalism before being released.

The Danish Cup final was originally scheduled to take place at Brøndby Stadium. However, the decision was made to relocate the match to Herning after police determined they could not guarantee the safety of FC Copenhagen fans in Brøndby. Had Brøndby qualified for the final, the game would have remained at their home stadium. Brøndby lost to Silkeborg in the semi-final, preventing them from reaching the final.

The Danish Cup final between FC Copenhagen and Silkeborg is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m.
