Thomas Falbe, former editor-in-chief of DR News, has been appointed as the new CEO of TV 2 Kosmopol, a regional media outlet covering the Copenhagen metropolitan area. This appointment comes after his dismissal from DR in February following the controversy surrounding the documentary “Greenland’s White Gold.”
Falbe will assume his new role on August 1st, succeeding Morten Kjær Pedersen, who stepped down earlier this year after a decade as the head of the media organization.
Falbe expressed his enthusiasm for the new position, highlighting TV 2 Kosmopol’s “unique regional position with high ambitions for quality journalism and citizen-oriented coverage.“
He further stated that he is looking forward to leading the media outlet’s continued development alongside its dedicated team of employees.
