Thomas Arnoldsen’s exceptional performance, featuring 11 goals and numerous assists, propelled Aalborg Håndbold to a 37-34 victory against Nordsjælland Håndbold in the Herreligaen. The win marks Aalborg’s second consecutive league victory this season.

Nordsjælland’s offensive defense initially posed a challenge for Aalborg. However, Arnoldsen’s offensive prowess in the second half secured the win for the North Jutland team.

Early in the game, Lukas Nilsson’s strong performance helped Aalborg establish a significant lead. Nilsson quickly scored five goals, giving Aalborg a seven-goal advantage after fifteen minutes.

Despite the difficult start, Nordsjælland adjusted their strategy, switching to an offensive defense that disrupted Aalborg’s rhythm and caused errors.

Juri Knorr, Aalborg’s new summer acquisition, made his debut in the match but was unable to shift the momentum.

In the second half, Nordsjælland closed the gap, tying the score at 21-21 eight minutes after the break. Arnoldsen then took control, contributing to nearly all of Aalborg’s scores through goals, assists, and drawing penalty shots.

Arnoldsen’s dominance allowed Aalborg to regain a five-goal lead, which Nordsjælland could not overcome.
