Ten people were involved in a fight at the “Musik i Lejet” festival in Vejby, North Zealand, on Saturday evening, according to North Zealand Police. Police intervened to break up the altercation, using batons to separate those involved.

One individual has been charged with violence against an official after allegedly kicking and spitting at officers during the intervention. This person was subsequently removed from the festival grounds.

David Eckert, duty officer at North Zealand Police, confirmed the incident. As of Sunday morning, no other charges have been filed in connection with the fight.

None of the individuals involved sustained injuries requiring medical treatment. The police have not yet determined the cause of the fight.
