A 16-year-old girl has been remanded in custody following a preliminary hearing at the Court in Holstebro on Monday in connection with an arson case at Thisted Town Hall.

The girl is charged with arson at the town hall, which allegedly occurred on Sunday night.

According to reports, the teenager is suspected of initiating the fire by setting a container ablaze.

She is also accused of breaking into the town hall by throwing paving stones through windows.

It is further alleged that she then used flammable liquids to set fire to the building.

During the preliminary hearing, which was held behind closed doors, the girl did not address the charges against her.
