Rawa Majid, the leader of the Swedish “Foxtrot” network, is reportedly under pressure from the Iranian regime to orchestrate attacks on Israeli embassies and other targets in Sweden, Germany, and Denmark. According to Swedish media SVT, Majid, also known as “The Kurdish Fox,” has activated his network in the Nordic countries to find individuals willing to carry out these attacks.
The Swedish media outlet SVT reports that Iran is allegedly pressuring the Swedish gang to attack Israeli and American targets, including those in Denmark. While Berlingske cannot independently verify this information, SVT has extensively covered the topic, detailing Iran’s influence over the Foxtrot network through articles and a documentary series.
Those who refuse to participate in the attacks are reportedly being threatened and labeled as enemies of “The Kurdish Fox.” This effort follows a recent increase in tensions between Iran and Israel.
SVT reports that Swedish authorities have been concerned about the possibility of Iran activating its criminal proxies in Sweden since Israel began attacking Iran earlier this month. This is not the first instance of such activity.
SVT previously reported that individuals connected to the Foxtrot network carried out a shooting at the Israeli embassy in Stockholm and grenade explosions at the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen. In October of last year, two hand grenades were detonated near the Israeli embassy in Hellerup. Subsequently, it was revealed that Majid’s rival, Ismail Abdo, also known as “The Strawberry,” was pressured by Iran to attack regime critics and Israeli interests.
The Swedish Security Service has suggested that the shooting at the Israeli embassy in Stockholm may be linked to Iran. While the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET) has acknowledged monitoring potential connections to Iran, no official confirmation has been made public.
The Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maria Malmer Stenergard, has stated that Iran is a destructive force known to act through gang criminals in Sweden, and that the situation is being taken “incredibly seriously.”
PET has issued a statement saying that there are examples of Iran using criminal networks to target objectives in Europe and that they have increased attention on Israeli and American targets in Denmark because of the conflict between Iran and Israel.
