Skjern Håndbold Sells Noah Gaudin to Paris Saint-Germain and Announces Replacement

Skjern Håndbold has sold backcourt player Noah Gaudin to Paris Saint-Germain, marking the club’s biggest sale ever. The Danish silver medalist team reluctantly agreed to the transfer after securing a replacement for the key player.

Skjern’s sporting director, Thomas Klitgaard, acknowledged that it is difficult to lose a player of Gaudin’s caliber, highlighting his significant impact on the club as a key profile and top scorer for two seasons. He noted the club engaged in productive discussions with Gaudin regarding the growing interest from other teams, especially PSG, and recognized this transfer as a significant opportunity for the player.

To facilitate the transfer, Skjern focused on finding a suitable replacement, which they have now secured. The replacement will be revealed on Wednesday.

Gaudin expressed his excitement about joining PSG, describing the move as “a boyhood dream come true.” In Paris, he will be coached by Dane Stefan Madsen and will compete for playing time alongside players such as Jacob Holm. Gaudin, who previously played for Sønderjyske, debuted for the French national team earlier this year.
