Viborg FF defeated Silkeborg IF 2-1 in their Saturday match, despite trailing 1-0 in the first half. The match served as a final rehearsal for Silkeborg before their upcoming cup final against FC Copenhagen.
Silkeborg took the lead in the 19th minute when Fredrik Carlsen scored after an assist from Jens Martin Gammelby.
Viborg quickly responded, with Yonis Njoh scoring after Isak Jensen dribbled past several Silkeborg players. Viborg then completed their comeback after Isak Jensen scored a penalty following a foul on Srdjan Kuzmic.
The second half saw fewer chances, with both teams seemingly content with the scoreline. A late opportunity arose for Viborg’s Charly Nouck, but his shot was saved by the Silkeborg goalkeeper.
