A serious multi-vehicle accident occurred near Hovedgård in Horsens Municipality on Monday afternoon, resulting in one person being seriously injured and transported to the hospital by helicopter. The accident involved five vehicles and led to the closure of Gl. Århusvej for several hours.

The accident happened at 5:10 PM at an exit on Gl. Århusvej, prompting a large emergency response. Multiple ambulances and a medical helicopter were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance.

Initially, the injured person was reported to be in critical condition, but the latest reports indicate that their condition is no longer life-threatening. The injured individual is receiving treatment at Skejby Hospital.
