A 37-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being struck by a truck while cycling in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. The accident occurred at the intersection of Mimersgade and Hamletsgade on Wednesday morning.

The Copenhagen Police reported the incident at 07:42 local time, confirming serious personal injury. The cyclist was hit by the truck as it was making a right turn.

The woman was conscious when transported to the hospital’s trauma center. Her relatives have been notified of the incident.

Police have cordoned off the area to allow for an investigation by a car inspector. While traffic is able to pass through the area, there are accessibility challenges. The Copenhagen Police have asked the public to remain patient while the investigation is underway.
