A finger paint set sold on TheKiddoSpace website has been recalled due to the presence of substances that could pose a health risk if ingested or absorbed through the skin. The recall was initiated after information was received through the EU Commission’s Safety Business Gateway, according to the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Miljøstyrelsen).

The agency’s Chemicals Inspection (Kemikalieinspektionen) reported that in the worst-case scenario, the product could cause permanent organ damage. SN ECOMMERCE LLP, the London-based company behind the product, has taken immediate action to recall the finger paint set.

The finger paint set was available for purchase between March 13, 2023, and March 6, 2025. The exact sales figures are not specified. Consumers who have purchased the finger paint set are advised to dispose of it immediately.

TheKiddoSpace is offering a full refund or a voucher for the purchase amount to affected customers. Customers are encouraged to contact TheKiddoSpace to arrange for a refund or voucher.

TheKiddoSpace website also indicates that other products have been recalled, including two versions of reusable magnetic silicone water balloons. These water balloons pose a risk due to small, detachable magnets which, if swallowed, can cause intestinal blockage or perforation.
