Rasmus Falk has been named the new captain of OB (Odense Boldklub), just weeks after his transfer from FC Copenhagen. OB’s coach, Alexander Zorniger, made the announcement in a recent interview, citing Falk’s mentality, character, and strong desire to contribute to the team’s success.

Zorniger emphasized Falk’s importance both on and off the field, stating that he possesses the necessary qualities to lead the squad effectively. Falk’s history with OB, where he received his football education and began his senior career, further solidified his suitability for the role.

The 33-year-old midfielder spent several years at FC Copenhagen, becoming a prominent figure and winning multiple titles, including five championships and three cup titles. Now, he returns to OB on a three-year contract, ready to lead his boyhood club.

OB is set to begin their Superliga season on Sunday with an away game against FC Midtjylland.
