A person died after being struck by a train on the tracks at Kløvermosevej in Odense early Sunday morning. The incident, which occurred shortly before 5 a.m., led to the suspension of train services to and from Odense towards Jutland.

Funen Police confirmed the fatality to the media. Authorities are currently working to identify the deceased, whose gender and age remain unknown.

Train services were expected to resume around 7 a.m., according to information on DSB’s website. The disruption affected commuters traveling to and from Odense.
