A person has died following a single-vehicle accident on Klim Strandvej near Fjerritslev in North Jutland on Thursday afternoon. According to reports, a car crashed into a roadside tree and subsequently caught fire.

Police received the initial report of the accident at 3 PM. Emergency services arriving at the scene confirmed that a person was inside the vehicle and had died.

North Jutland Police duty officer Jesper Sørensen confirmed the fatality to the media.

Authorities have notified the relatives of the deceased. The age and gender of the person have not been disclosed.
