Tonight presents an excellent opportunity to observe a total lunar eclipse, often referred to as a blood moon, according to the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI). The celestial event should be visible shortly after moonrise, which is expected just before 8:00 PM.

Most of Denmark should have favorable viewing conditions, according to Mette Zhang, duty meteorologist at DMI. Despite some thin, high-altitude clouds predicted over Funen, Bornholm, and Jutland, the blood moon may still be visible.

Viewers are encouraged to position themselves at the right time and place, looking in the correct direction, to maximize their chances of witnessing the event.
