An 18-year-old man is in critical condition following a traffic accident between a motorcycle and a car on Tjærebyvej east of Svenstrup near Korsør on Thursday afternoon.

The accident, reported to South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police at 4:23 PM via emergency number 112, prompted a significant emergency response.

Police duty officer Kasper Skotte confirmed the collision, stating that both a motorcycle and a car were involved.

The injured 18-year-old man has been transported to Rigshospitalet for treatment via helicopter, and authorities have notified his family.

A vehicle inspector is currently investigating the accident site, which remains closed to traffic.
