Mathias Kvistgaarden Selected for Danish National Team

Mathias Kvistgaarden, the 23-year-old Brøndby forward, has been called up to the Danish national team for the first time. This selection follows a strong season where he demonstrated his capabilities on the field.

Kvistgaarden could potentially make his debut in the upcoming test matches against Northern Ireland and Lithuania in June, under the guidance of Brian Riemer. His performance in the Superliga has been noteworthy, with 17 goals scored in 29 appearances for Brøndby.

Alongside Kvistgaarden, other young talents from the Superliga have also been included in the national team squad. Lucas Høgsberg from FC Nordsjælland and Victor Froholdt from FC Copenhagen will join the camp, continuing their involvement from the previous national team gathering.

Brian Riemer has also maintained a core group of seasoned players within the squad. Experienced players such as Kasper Schmeichel, Christian Eriksen, and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg have all been selected, providing a blend of youth and experience within the Danish national team.
