A 22-year-old man was stabbed in the back on Københavnsvej in Roskilde on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred near Aldi, prompting a swift response from Mid and West Zealand Police.

Police arrested the suspected perpetrator, also 22 years old, within seven minutes of receiving the report at 8:23 PM. The suspect is currently in custody, and authorities are evaluating whether to present the case before a judge.

According to Duty Officer Boye Rasmussen, the two men involved knew each other prior to the incident. The police have recovered the weapon used in the stabbing.

Authorities do not believe that the individuals involved are connected to criminal organizations. The rapid arrest was facilitated by descriptions provided by witnesses at the scene.
