A 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another 23-year-old man with scissors in Ingstrup, near Løkken, on Sunday night. The suspect was remanded in custody until August 1st following a preliminary hearing at the Court in Aalborg.

The indictment states that the accused stabbed the victim multiple times in the chest with scissors. The incident occurred at approximately 1:28 AM on a public street.

Following the stabbing, the perpetrator fled the scene in a car accompanied by a man and a woman. Police apprehended all three individuals about thirty minutes later.

While the man and woman were not presented at a preliminary hearing on Sunday, they face charges of complicity in attempted murder.

The victim underwent surgery and is in critical condition in an artificial coma. The surgery was reported to have gone well under the circumstances.

The 23-year-old defendant has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has not appealed the custody ruling.
