A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including rape and violence, committed between 2022 and the current year. The South and Southern Jutland Police have confirmed the charges, which involve two injured parties, both women with a relationship to the accused.

The man appeared in court in Sønderborg on Friday for a preliminary hearing and has been remanded in custody for four weeks.

The charges comprise a total of seven offenses that occurred at addresses in Haderslev and Aabenraa. Among the charges are two counts of rape and two counts of rape involving sexual activity other than intercourse.

Additionally, the man faces charges related to violence, psychological violence, and gross violence.

During the preliminary hearing, the prosecution requested the court to hold the hearing behind closed doors. The judge granted this request, meaning that detailed information about the case, beyond the specific charges, is not available to the public.
