A male driver is in critical condition after a single-vehicle accident on Nørreskovvej on the island of Tåsinge near Valdemars Slot. Funen Police reported receiving a call about the incident Thursday evening.

The man apparently drove into a tree, causing significant damage to his vehicle. The driver was reportedly unconscious when rescue teams arrived at the scene. Pictures from the site show a black car with extensive front-end damage.

The accident prompted a road closure for technical investigations, but the road was reopened later that evening.
