Lars Sandahl Sørensen, the Director of the Confederation of Danish Industry (Dansk Industri), has been nominated for a position on the board of directors of the jewelry company Pandora. The election is expected to take place during an extraordinary general meeting in August.

Peter A. Ruzicka, Chairman of the Board of Pandora, stated that Sørensen’s leadership background and proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments would be highly valuable to the company.

Sørensen assumed his role as CEO of the Confederation of Danish Industry in 2019. His previous experience includes serving as Executive Vice President at SAS, Commercial Director at ISS, and CEO of Visit Denmark.

The stock exchange announcement also noted that Christian Frigast, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Pandora, will not be seeking re-election. He will step down from his position at the next annual general meeting in the spring.
