A significant fire erupted at a Falck station in Fredericia on Friday afternoon, with firefighters anticipating that extinguishing efforts will extend into Saturday. The blaze, which engulfed the entire roof structure, required a substantial response from the Trekantsområdets Brandvæsen.
At its peak, 53 personnel were on-site working to control the fire, after the initial report came in at 2:17 PM. By approximately 10:00 PM, the fire department announced that the fire was under control, but cautioned that extinguishing operations would continue for several more hours.
The Falck station is situated in an industrial zone on Vejlevej in Fredericia. Authorities do not suspect any criminal activity to be the cause of the fire. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have originated during the installation of skylights, potentially involving roofing felt.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
