Green Concert 2025 Sets Attendance Record and Sells Out All Shows

The 2025 Green Concert (Grøn) has concluded its tour with record-breaking attendance, drawing 199,000 guests across eight sold-out concerts. The event, which supports the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, experienced both extreme heat and severe weather conditions during its run.

The tour spanned eight cities: Tårnby, Kolding, Aarhus, Aalborg, Esbjerg, Odense, Næstved, and Valby. Each of the concerts reached maximum capacity, marking a historic achievement for the event.

Despite the success, the concert in Esbjerg was impacted by a significant cloudburst, prompting South and Sønderjylland Police to advise against outdoor activity. Organizers temporarily evacuated the festival grounds to ensure the safety of attendees.

Ticket holders in Esbjerg were given the option to receive a refund or donate the ticket price to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation expressed gratitude for the support received, emphasizing the importance of the funds for Danish research into muscular dystrophy and the well-being of its members.

The fundraising manager at the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation acknowledged the challenges posed by the weather extremes encountered during the tour but celebrated the successful finale in Valby with 30,500 attendees. The director of the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation conveyed deep appreciation for the love and support shown throughout the two-week event.
