A French tourist sustained significant injuries, including a fractured vertebra and several broken ribs, after being attacked in a bar in Aalborg, Denmark. The incident occurred late Saturday night in Maren Turis Gade, a central street in the city.

The tourist and his Danish friend were reportedly assaulted by a group of 15 to 20 people. According to their account, the attack was unprovoked.

The Danish friend escaped the brawl without serious injuries, while the French tourist required medical attention. He was transported to the hospital and received stitches for his wounds.

Police responded to the report at 12:24 AM and have reviewed CCTV footage that corroborates the victims’ account of the event.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the assault.
