Frederik Brandhof is leaving AGF to join AC Horsens in the second-tier league, seeking more regular playing time. The 28-year-old midfielder will reunite with head coach David Nielsen, who previously brought him to AGF.
AGF football director Carsten V. Jensen stated that the club accommodated the transfer because Brandhof desired more playing time, and AC Horsens presented a good opportunity. Brandhof played 22 games for AGF last season, starting in only five.
Brandhof is eager to have a more prominent role at AC Horsens, which aims to be promoted to the Superliga. He expressed his excitement about the project at AC Horsens. He noted the club’s ambition and progress in creating good facilities.
Brandhof’s goal, shared by the club, is to play in the Superliga next season. He has previously played for Viborg FF, Skive IK, and FC Midtjylland.
