Four individuals sustained minor injuries when a fence collapsed at the Jelling Music Festival on Wednesday evening, causing a temporary delay to a concert. The incident occurred at Teltscenen just before a performance by Copenhagen rapper Mas.

Following the fence collapse, which a festival spokesperson attributed to a “construction error,” organizers have committed to thoroughly inspecting all structures on the festival grounds.

The concert was delayed for approximately 25 minutes as a result of the incident. The Jelling Music Festival, which runs from Wednesday to Saturday, anticipates hosting up to 40,000 guests. The festival features a diverse lineup of performers across multiple genres and stages, including Jelling Big Band, Birte Kjær, The Minds of 99, Gilli, and Baest. The Jelling Music Festival is considered the first major festival of the season.
