Former Handball Star Joachim Boldsen Enters Municipal Election

Joachim Boldsen, the former national handball player, is running in the upcoming municipal election on November 18th for the Conservative party in Hørsholm Municipality. The 47-year-old aims to contribute to making the municipality the best in Denmark.

Boldsen’s decision to run follows a request from the current mayor, Morten Slotved (K), who will remain the party’s leading candidate in the election. With three children in school, Boldsen is particularly interested in improving opportunities for young people in the area.

Boldsen brings a diverse background to his candidacy, having worked as a TV host and handball expert after retiring from his successful handball career. He played 186 national matches between 1998 and 2008, scoring 405 goals. He also played for several prominent clubs, including SG Flensburg-Handewitt in Germany and FC Barcelona in Spain.

Currently, Boldsen works as an independent HR consultant. He provides support to small and medium-sized businesses and conducts management courses.
