A ferry that ran aground near Bøjden in southwestern Funen on Thursday morning has been successfully pulled free. The incident occurred around 7 AM.
The ferry, “MF Frigg Sydfyen,” which operates on the Alslinjen route between Bøjden on Funen and Fynshav on the island of Als, was blown off course shortly after departure due to strong winds. This resulted in the vessel becoming stranded.
There were approximately 50 passengers and 21 cars on board the ferry at the time of the incident. Alslinjen confirmed the details regarding the passengers and vehicles.
