Swedish defender Joel Andersson has been transferred from FC Midtjylland (FCM) to Bulgarian club Ludogorets. The club announced the sale on its website.

Andersson, 28, had 18 months remaining on his contract with FCM. He played 221 games for the team after joining in 2018.

FCM’s sporting director, Kristian Bak, stated that Andersson has helped advance the club and leaves with significant recognition.

During his time with FCM, Andersson scored six goals and provided 28 assists. The team won two Danish championships and two cup titles with him on the roster.
