FC Fredericia will receive 17 million kroner instead of the expected 12 million kroner following a capital expansion. This announcement was made on the club’s website just before their inaugural Superliga match.

The additional funds will be used to upgrade Monjasa Park to meet Superliga standards. Renovations include expanding the stadium’s capacity to 10,000 spectators in collaboration with Fredericia Municipality.

Furthermore, the club is also investing in upgrading its organization and VIP facilities in preparation for the demanding season ahead.

Anders Østergaard, owner of the main sponsor Monjasa, will become the majority owner of the club as a result of the capital expansion.

FC Fredericia will host FC Nordsjælland for their season opener.
