FC Copenhagen is currently in negotiations to sell 19-year-old midfielder Victor Froholdt to a Portuguese club. The announcement was made by Parken Sport & Entertainment, the company behind FC Copenhagen, in a stock exchange statement on Monday morning.

While negotiations are ongoing, there is no guarantee that a final agreement will be reached. Parken Sport & Entertainment stated that they will release another announcement if a deal is finalized.

The news follows reports that FC Copenhagen was in advanced talks with FC Porto regarding Froholdt’s transfer. The potential transfer fee is estimated to be around 165 million kroner.

Froholdt played in FC Copenhagen’s recent 3-2 victory against Viborg in the Superliga season premiere. The team is scheduled to begin their Champions League qualification campaign with a home match against Drita from Kosovo.
