FC Copenhagen anticipates a substantial increase in revenue and profit following their qualification for the Champions League. The club secured its seventh Champions League appearance on Wednesday night, defeating FC Basel 2-0 in the second leg of the qualifying round, resulting in a 3-1 aggregate victory.
Parken Sport & Entertainment, FCK’s parent company, has revised its financial forecast, projecting a profit between DKK 240-290 million. This is a significant increase from the previous estimate of DKK 100-150 million.
The financial boost is attributed to the revenue generated from participating in the prestigious Champions League tournament. The victory at Parken stadium has secured a lucrative spot for the club, promising a significant financial windfall.
