Fairchild Denmark is currently in negotiations to purchase a majority stake in Aarhus Airport, which has been facing financial difficulties. The company revealed its intentions in a recent press release, confirming earlier reports of ongoing discussions with an unnamed investor.

Hans-Henrik Danielsen, CEO of Fairchild Denmark, has stated that the company aims to acquire at least 51 percent of the airport’s shares. This acquisition would grant Fairchild Denmark complete control over the ownership, operation, and future development of Aarhus Airport.

Fairchild Denmark is backed by the American Fairchild Aerospace Corporation. While negotiations are still in progress, the company has expressed a clear commitment to finalizing the agreement and taking over the airport’s management.
