Police are investigating an explosion that occurred at a residential building in Greve Friday night, the second such incident this week. According to duty officer Lasse Jensen from the Midt- and Vestsjællands Police, the incident was reported at 00:15.
An object exploded in front of an entrance door, prompting an investigation to determine the cause. Authorities have completed on-site investigations and further examination is underway.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the explosion, which occurred in a residential area near Bøgehegnet.
The incident follows a similar explosion on Wednesday night at Gersagerparken, where an entrance area was damaged, shattering glass. No one was injured in that explosion either.
Police are exploring potential connections between the two explosions and have increased their presence in the area. Dog patrols are present, and technicians from the National Unit for Special Crime and the ammunition disposal service (EOD) are assisting with the investigation.
