DSB’s ticketing systems are back online after experiencing significant IT problems throughout the day. Passengers can once again purchase tickets through DSB’s app, website, and vending machines.
The issues, which began in the early hours of the morning, stemmed from a network update implemented overnight. This prevented customers from accessing the app and vending machines.
Technicians worked to resolve the problems throughout the day to restore services for passengers.
Despite the widespread disruption, the physical travel card, the travel ticket app, the travel card app, and the travel planner remained functional.
During the outage, DSB emphasized that a valid ticket was still required to board trains. Passengers who were unable to purchase a ticket due to the IT issues were advised to explain the situation to onboard staff.
While ticketing systems have been restored, some of DSB’s traffic information screens are still experiencing issues. A solution for these screens is still being worked on.
