DSB’s ticket sales systems are back online after experiencing widespread issues throughout the day due to a network update. Passengers can once again purchase tickets through DSB’s various channels, including the app and website.
The disruption began following a network update implemented overnight. Technicians worked throughout the day to resolve the problems and restore full functionality to the ticket purchasing system.
While the online systems were down, the physical travel card, the travel ticket app, the travel card app, and the travel planner remained operational.
DSB’s information manager, Tony Bispeskov, stated that passengers were still required to have a valid ticket to travel on DSB trains during the outage.
Bispeskov also clarified that passengers who were unable to purchase a ticket due to the system issues would not be fined. He advised passengers to explain the situation to staff on board, who would assist them.
