The Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) has issued a warning for potential heavy rain and thunderstorms in several regions of Denmark on Friday. The affected areas include West, Central, and South Jutland, as well as Funen.
The warning is in effect from 12:00 to 20:00 on Friday. DMI forecasts the formation of showers that could become very heavy and accompanied by thunder.
Some of these showers may intensify into downpours or even double downpours. A downpour is defined as 15 millimeters of precipitation within half an hour, while a double downpour involves 30 millimeters or more in the same timeframe.
DMI has also cautioned about the risk of localized downpours and thunder in West and North Zealand on Friday, specifically between 14:00 and 20:00.
