David Nilsson of Sweden secured victory in the Broløbet half marathon, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Øresund Bridge. He completed the 21.0975-meter race in 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 21 seconds.
The race, marking a significant milestone for the bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden, saw Nilsson emerge as the fastest runner.
Nilsson’s time in this year’s race was approximately three minutes slower than his winning time from 15 years ago. He previously won the Broløbet in 2010 with a time of 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 34 seconds during the Øresund Bridge’s 10th-anniversary celebration.
